Mad Dog Mcrea
Mad Dog Mcrea blend a unique mixture of folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ music. From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.
In constant demand and having played just about every festival and two-bit, jibe-arsed dive in Christendom, Mad Dog Mcrea are, in every sense of the word, a live, band – ALMOST HOME – encapsulates that – and so much more.
Black Water County
Smashing their way into the UK folk punk scene since 2013, Black Water County bring an energetic live show of stout quaffing, banjo breaking and tin whistle mangling original music, along with trads and shanties that have been given a good kick up the arse and a slap around the face. Their energetic live shows, which feature the dual lead vocals of Tim and Shan, are a thing of local legend and awe in their home county of Dorset, usually ending up with band members scattered throughout a frenzied crowd or a shoulder-mounted fiddle solo, to name but a couple of eventualities.
Huw Eddy & The Carnival
Igniting in the cider guzzling southwest and nabbing a bunch of rowdy loud mouth northerners on the way, ‘Huw Eddy & The Carnival’ was born in Leeds. Pedalling sound waves with a gob stopping core of Indie Folk, yet generous lashings of Rock and Roll and Americana influences, they bring you a non-stop hootenanny of jiving splendour that forces you to throw down your drink and just dance. They deliver songs and vocal melodies that will tug at your heartstrings as well as have you chucking your paws in air through pure uninterrupted merriment.
